GARDENER / HANDYMAN
Salary offer
GBP 3000-3500/month
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Garden & Grounds Maintenance:
• Lawn mowing, aeration, fertilization
• Seasonal planting, mulching, weeding
• Shrub shaping and tree pruning
• Pest control and seasonal spraying
• Monitoring and adjusting irrigation systems
Water Features:
• Regular cleaning of ponds and fountains
• Monitoring water levels and filtration systems
• Removing algae and mineral deposits
Cleaning & Outdoor Maintenance:
• Sweeping paths, stairs, and terraces
• Cleaning external glass and decorative surfaces
• Maintaining rainwater drainage systems
Minor Repairs & Maintenance:
• Changing lightbulbs, fixing fittings, touch-up painting
• Assembling and installing furniture
• Basic plumbing, ventilation, and electrical work
Event & Guest Preparation:
• Setting up the outdoor area before guest arrival
• Moving furniture, lighting, and equipment
• General support for household tasks and errands
OUR EXPECTATIONS:
• Previous experience working in private households, gardens, or similar roles
• Practical skills in gardening and general repairs
• Good physical condition and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• English level B2 or higher (ability to follow instructions and communicate)
• Valid Settled Status or Skilled Worker Visa (UK work authorization is mandatory)
CONDITIONS:
• Full-time, long-term employment
• All necessary tools and seasonal uniforms provided
• Salary from £3,000 net per working month
• 40% of salary paid for each rest month
• Live-in accommodation can be discussed
• Contract directly with the family; agency support available if needed
